The Red River Gorge Ultra is back for 2025. We’ve moved the epic, two-day race to early spring at Koomer Ridge Campground in Kentucky’s Red River Gorge.
50K Saturday. See all of The Red in a single day.
25K Sunday. Mile for mile MUCH tougher than the 50K!
Run both races for the RRG DOUBLE!

*Elevation/distance is measured w/ GPS and can be inaccurate. If you want 100% accuracy, stay on the roads. No whiners.

All Next Opportunity Events races are cupless. All runners will be responsible for carrying their own hydration containers (bottles, hydration packs, belts, etc).
Aid stations and finish line will have NO CUPS!

Pacers, crews, and drop bags are not permitted at the RRG Ultra for any participant.

Reference cut-offs above. Runners not OUT of the aid station at the cut-off time will not be permitted to continue. Once you’ve missed a cut-off and a volunteer has told you to not continue, if you continue running you’ll be banned from future NOE races. Show up trained to make the cut-offs.

PARKING
Pull into the campground and first fill up the parking lot on the left. If the lot is full, please park sensibly along the side of the road throughout the campground and WALK to the finish line (across from the bathhouse).
DO NOT park in campsite spaces unless you’ve reserved and paid for that campsite.
