The 2025 race has moved down the road to Natural Bridge State Resort Park in Slade, Kentucky! Parking will be at the Sky Lift Parking Lot by Shelter #2. The online course maps have been updated with the new location and updated routes!
The Red River Gorge Ultra is back for 2025 at Natural Bridge State Park!
50K Saturday. See all of The Red in a single day.
25K Sunday. Mile for mile MUCH tougher than the 50K!
Run both races for the RRG DOUBLE!
50K (Saturday)
Distance*: 32(ish) Miles
Elevation Gain*: 6,000’
Start Time: 7:00am
Cut Off: 5:30pm (10.5 hours)
25k (Sunday)
Distance*: 16.3(ish) miles
Elevation Gain*: 2,800’
Start Time: 8:00am
Cut Off: 2:00pm
*Elevation/distance is measured w/ GPS and can be inaccurate. If you want 100% accuracy, stay on the roads. No whiners.

All Next Opportunity Events races are cupless. All runners will be responsible for carrying their own hydration containers (bottles, hydration packs, belts, etc).
Aid stations and finish line will have NO CUPS!
CREWS, PACERS, AND DROP BAGS
Pacers, crews, and drop bags are not permitted at the RRG Ultra for any participant.
