Cantuckee Y'all | 90 Days Out!
Hey Y’all!
We’re about 90 days out from the 2nd annual Cantuckee Y’all 50K and 15K trail runs at Natural Bridge State Park and Resort! So let’s check in on some general details.
Full and complete race details can be found on the calendar listing for the Cantuckee Y’all race on our Event Calendar. Check there often for complete details, maps, etc. We’ll also send out emails and post to this newsfeed for any critical updates and changes.
Registration & PRICE INCREASES
REMINDER: Registration will close at midnight Eastern time on Wednesday of race week. Absolutely no last-minute or on-site registrations will be permitted.
Also, prices will increase by 25% (both distances) on September 28th. So, if you know people who are waiting until the last minute to register, please make sure to tell them to GET ON IT!
DON’T FORGET - NEXT OPPORTUNITY NOW PAYS FOR RUNNERS’ CREDIT CARD AND ULTRASIGNUP PROCESSING FEES!
Runners now only pay for registration and applicable sales tax.
Parking
Parking is at the Sky Lift parking lot in Natural Bridge State Park. Please do your homework so you know exactly where that is within the park. That is easy to find with a simple Google search or by looking at a map of the park.
Course Marking
The trails will be marked with PINK flags in the ground.
The flags will have the Next Opportunity Events logo on them.
Flags are placed at turns and important intersections.
There are no signs or arrows. Runners are responsible for keeping an eye out for the flags.
Timing, Results, and Awards
The race will be chip timed.
Results will be streamed online and accessible via QR code posted at the race.
Final results will be posted to Ultrasignup the week after the race.
WHAT’S AT THE AID STATIONS?
We get this question SOOOOO much. You want the honest answer? Whatever the hell I see at the store that week that looks interesting to me and is in our budget. Picky eater? Stick to the roads or pack your own shit.
A few constants are always present: electrolyte drink (again whatever one I decide to buy, does it really matter?!?!), Coke (at most aid stations), chips, pickles. Beyond that, it’s a surprise!
